A color filter is a key optical component mainly applied in display technologies such as Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) to realize color display. By arranging red (R), green (G) and blue (B) color filter films on a glass substrate, it selectively allows light of specific wavelengths to pass through while absorbing or reflecting light of other wavelengths. When white light emitted by the backlight source passes through the color filter, it is split into the three primary colors of red, green and blue. Then the intensity of each colored light is controlled by the driving circuit, and rich and varied images can be presented after mixing. The performance of color filters directly affects key parameters of displays including color accuracy, contrast ratio, brightness and resolution, making them one of the core components that determine the display effect.
